Thank you Badawi !
Our acting Prime Minister, Dato' Seri Abdullah bin Haji Ahmad Badawi has shown good statesmanship and is in the highest level of inter-religion tolerance and national harmony when he decided to lift the ban on the Iban-language Bible , the Bap Kudus. In this season that sees ministers making bad decisions ( like our lawyer Health minister ), Dato' Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi has given us new hope in the current administration. We are now optimistic of better governance to come when he takes over officially as the head of the Malaysian government. Thank you, Badawi !

I worship in a congregation that holds the Holy communion or The Lord's supper every Sunday, as a vital part of worship. I have learnt to appreciate this segment, where I am compelled to humbly, prayerfully go back to God, to examine myself for how I have behaved for the past one week, and also to thank Jesus for his sacrifice. Together, we're solemn remembering the night Jesus was betrayed, but also when we finished, we would raise our heads up, smilingly, because Jesus has defeated death and cleansed us of our sins. This segment of worship, to me, is very very important, and requires utmost reverence from the worshippers.
However, unfortunately, regretfully, that is not the case for some others in the church. I try not to judge, but I'm disturbed to realised that they do not observe the Lord's supper with the same attitude as mine, some of them break and eat the bread non-chalantly, some even in the midst of a conversation or joke. But then again, coward I may be, I have my doubts to talk to them about this.

Phew, a tiring but interesting 3-hour work on modifying this site, and looking for relevant link-sties.
Thank you, Mark Morris for your instant feedback ! Happy Birthday, too !!

Been to a few christian blogsites, mostly non-Malaysian, and I know my writings will differ from the general pattern of the other blogs. I mean, I cannot say that I am a strong and zealous Christian like IreneQ or Mark, but I do have a lot to say about my Christian struggles, and also those of the others, of my friends, and church friends, and the neo-Pharisees. I have been through a lot, especially last year, when God finally allow to address the issue of church membership that has been troubling me for 3 years. I am still learning, still walking, slowly,... and currently,.. I am being very lethargic, spiritually. The recent incident where one of my articles in a newsletter seemed to have offended a friend, has, albeit me taking it lightly, re-opened my closet of doubts in God, and His intervention.
Friends, pray for me.

Listening to Hey Jude, Faye Wong’s music and Powerstation ain’t soothing to the heart, but yet pleasant to the ear. It does somehow provoke a funny feeling that tease your heart, a feeling that gives a feeling of emptiness.
Many people have spoken about being empty inside, written or talked about emptiness, and of purposeless-ness. The word’empty’ appears many, many times in my journal of 5 years.
The feeling of having lost my grandmother is one of a feeling of emptiness, of finding a void left inside. Irreplaceable, but perhaps forgettable.
In church, in love songs, in philosophy , people always talk about emptiness and they offer reasons why and what to do to fill the void, but yet , somehow, the emptiness never completely vanishes. I am 22 years now, been sort of ‘enlightened’ for more than 10 years now, but…sigh, sometimes you just feel empty, especially when SunYanZi starts singing ‘Hey Jude’ and goes “na.na..na.na” !
